Why - The Cranberries
With a brand new 'unplugged' album 'Something Else' released on the 28th April supported by a European Tour, our LCM featured band today are Limerick's finest The Cranberries. The new album features the band covering classic hits from their back catalogue together with the Irish Chamber Orchestra plus three new songs. Always a super live band The Cranberries are lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan and drummer Fergal Lawler. Although widely associated with alternative rock, the band's sound also incorporates indie pop, post-punk, Irish folk and pop rock. The band's London date is at The Palladium on the 20th May.
