Old Friends - Jasmine Thompson
Our next LCM featured artist Jasmine Thompson is one of our favourite young London singer-songwriters. Jasmine is releasing her brand new EP 'Wonderland' on the 19th May, with a sold out launch date at The Camden Assembly on the 12th June. We first featured Jasmine's music in the Group back in 2014. She started her career early and was a YouTube star at just 14 years old. Jasmine first came to our attention in 2013, when she released a cover of Passengers 'Let Her Go' which was reposted by Mike and went viral, at the time gaining 17 million views.
Jasmine based in Central London, she was born in England and is half Chinese. She became well-known for her YouTube channel, 'TantrumJas', which has over 2.7 million subscribers and nearly 434 million views. Her acoustic reworking of Chaka Khan's 'Ain't Nobody' made number 32 on the UK Singles Chart after being featured in an advert for supermarket chain Sainsbury's.
