Our next LCM featured and multi award-winning artist Hattie Briggs is releasing her excellent new 4 track 'Hide' EP this Friday. Hattie has launch gigs in Stroud on Friday 19th (with special guests our good friends The Black Feathers) and in London on Saturday 20th at the now sold out Winemaker's Club in Farringdon (with special guest Waiting For Smith). This year Hattie has been embarking on an exciting new project 'Twelve Months Of Madness', which sees her release a new limited edition CD every single month of 2017!!  Our LCM #TrackOfTheDay is a live version of 'Never Been In Love Before', it is a wonderful taster of the live shows and indeed the new EP. This track also features Jasmine Scott Neale and Matt Park. It was filmed by Ian Wallman and the audio is by Hattie's producer Peter Waterman.

Hattie Briggs is a 24 year-old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Since making the decision to drop out of a Russian degree in her second year at Oxford University, she has released six EPs, two critically acclaimed albums, had airplay on BBC Radios 1, 2, and 6 Music, and embarked on tours around the UK, the Netherlands and the U.S. During her travels she has supported some well known bands and artists, including chart topping duo, Ward Thomas, at the O2 London’s Brooklyn Bowl, Lauren Aquilina, Stornoway, Jamie N Commons, Seth Lakeman and Grant Nicholas (Feeder). Inspired by James Taylor, Carole King and Joni Mitchell, Hattie writes and sings straight from the heart. Her crystalline vocals, and insightful lyrics resonate across all ages, rekindling old memories and capturing imaginations. Combined with catchy melody lines and a cheeky, charismatic stage presence, it's unsurprising the youngster is seriously impressing industry figures and fans alike.
