Our next LCM featured artist US singer-songwriter Kate Ellis is releasing her brand new debut album 'Carve Me Out' at a 'sold out' launch gig on Wednesday at the Green Note n Camden. Kate was born in Louisiana, raised in New York and is now based in London. Her emotional and seductive vocals take you into a world of private beauty, reflection and feelings. The music is always intimate and evocative, you listen and want to be there. Our LCM #TrackOfTheDay is the wonderful second single release 'Don't Lie To Me'.

Kate Ellis’ southern country-folk roots and musical heritage comes from her father, who once played guitar with Hank Williams on the famous Louisiana Hayride, where Elvis and Johnny Cash started out. Like her father, Kate was born in Louisiana home of the "Red River Valley" sung about by Pete Seeger and the "City of New Orleans” sung about by Arlo Guthrie.
