On the 50th anniversary of Woody Guthrie's death our next LCM featured duo Hannah Sanders and Ben Savage felt it was the right time to record and release a song written by Woody which is always popular in their live set. Our LCM #TrackOfTheDay is the beautiful 'Way Over Yonder In The Minor Key' first released in 1998 on the 'Mermaid Avenue' album. The lyrics were originally written by Woody but the music was composed by UK Folk artist Billy Bragg. This cover version was produced by Juno award winning producer David Travers-Smith (Ruth Moody, The Waillin' Jennys) and the wonderful new video was filmed and produced by Rob Bridge of Redwood Photography.
