LCM Song Of The Day: ‘Don’t You Worry’ - Demi Marriner

There is a real classic retro vibe to our next LCM featured track written by the wonderful Demi Marriner. Demi was one of the fast rising stars of our last LCM gig at the Half Moon and this wonderful song adds to her already growing catalogue of great songs.

This new video was filmed by Sam East at Studiowz, Pembrokeshire with the audio recorded by Owain Fleetwood Jenkins. Demi is joined on the song by another fast-rising star Robbie Cavanagh plus Scott Warman and Ben Gonzalez.

UK singer-songwriter Demi Marriner landed the Number 1 spot on the iTunes UK Country Albums Chart just 48 hour after the release of debut EP ‘Tracks and Trails’, before going on to reach Number 3 with her debut single on the iTunes Country Singles charts with Learn To Love’ just seven months later followed closely with a Number 2 slot with second EP ‘Dandelion.’ Since, Demi has gone on to record numerous BBC sessions including those with BBC West Midlands, BBC Introducing, BBC Gloucester and a session on Amazing Radio with BBC Radio 2 presenter Baylon Leonard.

Demi has also received television recognition with Sky/Freeview channel ‘Keep It Country’, who continues to play her music videos. Demi has been able to build a great following and had the chance to play some incredible shows, including opening for the sensational Rufus Wainwright at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham, receiving a wonderful response from the 2000 people in attendance.

As well as this, Demi has supported names like Lucy Spraggan, Jon Gomm, Tia McGraff (Canadian country singer and songstress), BJ Barham (lead singer of US band American Aquarium), as well as performing on the Firestone and Amstel stages at Birmingham’s biggest arena’s ahead of shows for Elton John, Miranda Lambert, Nashville Live, and Take That amongst many others.

She has also performed at numerous festivals including a main stage slot at Wychwood Festival, 2000 Trees, Cheltenham Jazz Festival to name a few. On top of this, Demi performs regularly overseas, including shows in Ireland. Canada, Italy and The Netherlands, in which she attracted the attention of the Dutch Country Music Association who continue to support and play her music across radio stations in The Netherlands. Demi has been nominated for a BCMA Award for 'Horizon Act of the Year 2017'
