LCM Song Of The Day: ‘Seasons’ - Cerian
Our featured track today is the beautiful and new ethereal single from London based singer-songwriter Cerian. Inspired by three lines of poetry by Lewis Carroll: "In a Wonderland they lie, Dreaming as the days go by, Dreaming as the Summers die."
With Lewis Carroll's ‘Alice in Wonderland’ as a starting point, and using the seasons as a metaphor for love and the passage of time, this video was mainly filmed on location in Poland, where the amazing verdant greens echoed the vivid colour references in the song. The video was directed and produced by Bartek Podkowa (Seven Hills Films).
If you would like to see Cerian live in London, she will be joining the HEARD collective on Thursday (March 7th) at The Slaughtered Lamb for the released of their new single to celebrate International Women’s Day. Also Heard will be at the Green Note on April 17th and Cerian’s final gig of the spring will be at St. John’s Church, Hoxton on May 18th.
