Katie Nicholas (aka Katie Creative) is an award-winning singer-songwriter originally from Liverpool but now based in London. We are all big fans of Katie at LCM. She also creates and shoots all her own videos and is a very talented integrated designer by profession. Katie is also the founder of the Busy Bee Group.

Katie is very imaginative and innovative. She takes a unique twist on combining music and creative design. Known for writing witty and intricately detailed lyrics, Katie is an upcoming female singer-songwriter who not only writes and performs, but also films, animates and designs all her own music videos and content.

Born and bred in Liverpool, Katie now lives in London as an integrated designer (JWT London) and pursues her music as a country-pop singer songwriter. Katie has managed to achieve many good things so far, picking up an LMA '13 Michael Molloy Youth Music Award sponsored by the Mayor of Liverpool in recognition for her work as the best newcomer and talent to hit Liverpool, reaching no.1 in the UK & Irish country chart, 3rd in the European Chart and hitting 100,000 within 3 days of posting her valentine video, 'Chemistry'. She also reached the final last year of The Mayor of London's 'Big Busk' competition.

Katie debut EP 'Dizzy' was released this year and was very well received. In true Katie style, each of the pre-orders of the album had the personal touch and all were unique.

Described as "extremely photogenic and a striking new talent", Katie has been featured in UK's top best-selling country magazine, Country Music People, Americana-UK and more.

Her latest project is Busy Bee where she hopes to support, promote and appreciate like-minded musicians who work extremely hard to create a buzz around their music with no aid of a major company (http://www.thebusybeegroup.co.uk/)


Katie Nicholas is a singer-songwriter born and bred in Liverpool and now living in London at a major advertising agency, JWT London, as a designer. With a love of country music and artists such as Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves and John Mayer, Katie also embraces her English roots with sounds relative to Gabrielle Aplin, Nina Nesbitt etc. She also explores pop music, americana, folk, pop/rock and more. So far in her short musical career she has captured global attention leading to trips around Europe and multiple cases of interest from Nashville and New York. A unique element to Katie's music is that all videos and content have been solely produced by her, including individually filming, editing and animating her projects and maintaining her overall online presence.
