Megan O'Neill is a very good singer-songwriter originally from Ireland, but now London based. Megan performed a very impressive set at Laura Oakes EP launch in June, including a surprise duet with Ben from The Shires. She released her very good debut EP 'Coming Home' in May of this year, which is definitly worth exploring.
Hailing from County Kildar, Megan is one of the most exciting new entrants to the world of country pop music. A psychology graduate of University College Dublin, a previous UCD Choral Scholar and long time musician, Megan is no stranger to the world of performing arts and has been working hard to hone her craft since becoming a professional musician, writer and performer.
Megan's music is a fresh mix of modern country and pop, with a fusion of distinctly Irish elements making for a very unique sound.
Currently based in London, Megan has written internationally with many notable American writers such as Marc Beeson, Billy Austin, John Edwards, Brian Maher, Erik Halbig, Bruce Bouton, Mark Narmore and countless others.
2015 marks an exciting year for Megan, as work currently continues in the studio in advance of upcoming releases during the year. 2017 saw the release of 'Stories To Tell' a new EP/mini album with her band The Common Threads. We were thrilled that we were chosen to organise and host the sold-out London launch gig for Meg and the band.
2018 saw the release of Megan's excellent debut solo album 'Ghost of You'
