I'm With Her, the band of Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O'Donovan, have announced the release of their full-length debut, 'See You Around', out February 16, 2018. 'See You Around', the title track from the album, is available everywhere today. Co-produced by Ethan Johns (Ryan Adams, Laura Marling, Paul McCartney) and the band and recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in Bath, England, 'See You Around' is a 12 track LP filled with finespun narratives and breathtaking harmonies – full track listing is below. Additionally, I’m With Her has announced an international headlining tour that will kick off in March 2018 and bring the band to major cities across the world including Los Angeles, Paris, London, and more. 

'See You Around' presents a warmly textured, yet stripped-down sound layered with lush guitar tones and crystalline harmonies. The album is comprised of 11 originals, penned by the band in Los Angeles and Vermont, plus the never before released Gillian Welch-penned 'Hundred Miles'. With each member playing guitar and handling various aspects of the instrumentation— including fiddle and ukulele for Watkins, mandolin and banjo for Jarosz, piano and synth for O’Donovan—the band cut most of the album live, performing just a few feet away from each other in the tracking room. All through 'See You Around', I’m With Her exhibits a refined musicality that reflects their deep musical roots. 

After years of crossing paths in their intersecting scenes, I’m With Her came together by happenstance for an off-the-cuff performance at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival during the summer of 2014.The multi-Grammy-Award-winners have individually released nine solo efforts, co-founded two seminal bands (Nickel Creek and Crooked Still), and contributed to critically acclaimed albums from a host of esteemed artists. The band has garnered tremendous acclaim for their unique blend of instrumental interplay and indelible harmonies.

Joan's earliest recordings fed a host of traditional ballads into the rock vernacular, before she unselfconsciously introduced Bob Dylan to the world in 1963. Thus began a tradition of mutual mentoring that continues on Whistle Down The Wind, and which will reverberate long into the future across Joan's lifetime of recordings.

It’s all for the love of the guitar. John plays a rumbling fingerstyle and sometimes uses a slide, sometimes plays the guitar on his lap, sometimes he detunes mid-song. His guitar work and honey-on-gravel vocals have brought crowds to pin-drop silence and rapturous applause.

Exeter based singer-songwriter & guitarist Ben Morgan-Brown writes intimate & reflective songs heavily informed by the folk-baroque guitarists & singer-songwriters of the late ‘60s & early ‘70s. As a taster of Ben's music we have chosen as our LCM #SongOfTheDay 'No More Fooling' taken from his recently released 'Cold Rooms EP'.

Inspired to pick up the acoustic guitar ten years ago when he first heard Bert Jansch’s seminal debut album, his open-tuned guitar, ethereal vocals & highly personal lyrics tip the hat to Nick Drake, John Martyn, Michael Chapman et al whilst still maintaining a unique musical style & identity.

Having self-recorded his previous two releases (both of which received airplay on BBC Introducing) his new E.P. ‘Cold Rooms’ was recorded by Josh Clark (Kate Rusby, Mike Dawes, Miranda Sykes) and features five songs (with a bonus sixth track only available through Bandcamp) written in the last 18 months, a time during which Ben has reflected upon the past few years of his life, turbulent years that have seen him lose both his grandparents, get married & divorced within two years, spend a month in hospital after catching salmonella in Morocco & which culminated with the death of his father in November 2016.

These events led Ben to reevaluate many aspects of his life & in October 2017 he left his job managing a guitar shop deciding it was time to dedicate himself to music. After five years of life-changing events beyond his control, the release of ‘Cold Rooms’ marks yet another significant moment in his life - the moment at which he begins to give his music & talent the attention it deserves.

It has been two years since they last released music but the wait is over for fans of The Corrs as their new album lands on November 10.

Jupiter Calling comes two years after White Light and twenty years after the Dundalk band's hugely successful second album, Talk On Corners. Caroline describes making the album as "the most freeing experience we've ever had in the studio".

The album isproduced by T-Bone Burnett and he had them play live with minimal overdubs accompanied by bassist Robbie Malone and guitarist Anthony Drennan. He also insisted the studio source 40 spools or rare two inch tape and a 1966 Ludwig drum kit.

“I love The Corrs' deep, generous spirit,” says T-Bone. “I love their writing and their singing and their playing. I love the people of Ireland – their music, their literature, their art- and The Corrs are the most soulful exemplars of that mystical land.”

The Corrs also play a headline show at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall on the 19th October.

Kim Lowings and The Greenwood are one of an excellent group of fast rising stars in UK folk. They are Inspired by the folk tradition but have a wonderful fresh contemporary twist. Live shows are an energetic blend of original compositions and traditional songs. Kim Lowings, Andrew Lowings, Tim Rogers and Dave Sutherland bring together their multi-instrumental skill and individual experience resulting in an innovative and sensitive approach to arrangements. The motivation is to keep the tradition alive and to share their own tales.

Their new 12-track album 'Wild & Wicked Youth' released on the 8th September is a revelation and we think it's the best one yet. Our LCM #TrackOfTheDay is a live version of one of my favourite tracks on the album the traditional 'The Cuckoo', with a new arrangements by Kim and new music by Kim's dad Andrew. 

The group began as a collective in 2011 with Kim and her Dad, Andrew, collaborating with Midlands musicians. Since then the Greenwood has become an established four-piece on the British folk scene. Their recorded work includes their debut album This Life (2012), EP Deepest, Darkest Night (2013) and their latest album Historia (2015) heralded as "beautiful and enchanting” by Living Tradition and "Absolutely captivating” R2 Magazine ★★★★

Kim Lowings and The Greenwood have a busy touring schedule with bookings at Folk and Acoustic Clubs, festivals and live music venues across the country. Since winning the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Singer of the Year in 2014, Bella Hardy has cemented a reputation as one of the hardest-working and most-travelled singer-songwriters on the circuit.

Recently ensconced in Tennessee soaking up the vibe for an album of new material due out shortly, earlier this year Bella released this limited edition (of 500) CD album based upon research and writing she undertook as British Council and PRS for Music Foundation Musician in Residence in Yunnan Province, China in late 2015. The album was completed and recorded live on Bella’s return to Yunnan in May 2017, in Kunming, the ‘Eternal Spring’ of the title.

The album’s twelve tracks certainly reflect collectively what most listeners would recognise as Chinese musical styles and themes, notably the distinctive sound of the guzheng, a multi-stringed zither, beautifully played here throughout by Daixiao.
