You're My Best Friend - Don Williams (1975)

Our LCM Classic this week is our tribute to Country Music legend Don Williams who passed away recently after a short illness. Don's music was always very popular at home and I remember this timeless song from my childhood. 'You're My Best Friend' was the title track of Don's 1975 album release. Originally written by Wayland Holyfield, the song was Don's second No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in June 1975. It has since become one of his signature songs.

This live version was recorded in 1982.
