One of the exciting things in Nashville at the moment is a lot of the excellent singer-songwriters who have written great songs for major artists are deservedly getting much more recognition and releasing their own albums. One great example is our next LCM featured artist the multi-award winning Natalie Hemby. The very much in demand Natalie is one of Nashville's premier songwriters. Our LCM #SongOfTheDay is a wonderful live version of 'This Town Still Talks About You' from her debut album 'Puxico' released last year. It's is named after the place of her birth. Natalie has accumulated six #1 Billboard singles so far during her career including "White Liar", "Only Prettier" and "Automatic" by Miranda Lambert, "Pontoon" and "Tornado" by Little Big Town and "Drinks After Work" by Keith Urban. Natalie has also written or co-written songs for LeeAnn Womack, Eli Young Band, Amy Grant, Kelly Clarkson, Sheryl Crow, Brett Eldredge, Lady A, Blake Shelton, Jana Kramer, Nelly Futado and Kacey Musgraves.
She is currently a writer at Creative Nation Music Publishing, and has formerly been affiliated with EMI Publishing and Carnival Music.
