"A little back ground , Years ago I watched a program on tv , RTE Prime Time Investigates Missing persons . The feeling of despair left to the loved ones searching for their family member was put across so vividly to me that it stayed with me . This is a very sensitive topic to address at any time ,let alone in an art form . Even as I wrote it ,I felt anxious about ever releasing this song . Still , here it is , maybe it will serve positively somehow . I don’t know." Karrie .
From Ballyhar, County Kerry Karrie O'Sullivan Holmes is a successful horse-breaker working on her farm. Her other lifelong passion is music.. Karrie has previously appeared with Mary Coughlan (who will be recording two of Karrie’s songs for her next album). Also English singing star Rumer has been in contact with Karrie and is potentially recording one of her songs for a 2017 album release. These, and many more endorsements from very credible music Industry sources, have validated Karrie's and others belief in the importance of her song-writing talent.
Perpetual Motion’, the latest lbum from Karrie with accompaniment from Grammy nominated guitarist Jimmy Smyth (and band) was officially launched in October 2016 in Whelans, Dublin, and the Triskel, Cork.
