LCM Song Of The Day: ‘Our Love Is’ - Cerian ft Robert Taira Wilson

We are thrilled to share with you the latest single released today from the wonderful London singer-songwriter and friend Cerian. We had the privilege of premiering her debut single the fantastic ‘Wasteland’ and this great new track also features the excellent Robert Taira Wilson.

Cerian comments "‘Our Love Is’ is the fourth single to be released from my upcoming EP "Caught in the Dark." In contrast to the exploration of the darkness in my previous singles, Our Love Is is a celebration of love and light. I took inspiration and quotations from the poetry of Percy Bysshe Shelley, and recorded this song as a duet with fellow artist Robert Taira Wilson. I wanted to keep the production on this song simple, with just acoustic piano and guitar, so that the focus of the song is the interplay of the two voices, both in harmony and unison, and the way they work together to tell the story of the lyrics."

You can catch Cerian live in London as part of the HEARD collective on December 2nd in Covent Garden and also on December 8th as part of the Joglaresa extra London Christmas Concert at St. Bartholomew-the-less.

Our featured track today is the wonderful latest single from London based singer-songwriter and LCM favourite Cerian. It’s dreamlike, ethereal and very cinematic. This is a very personal song to Cerian, themed about her own struggle with the darkness. It’s also the title track and central point around which Cerian’s high anticipated upcoming EP is based. We think Cerian is very special and one of our LCM 'Ones to watch' in 2019.

You can catch Cerian live as part of the HEARD collective at The Green Note on 17th April or in Covent Garden on 28th April. Cerian also performers solo when she joins Roxannne de Bastion for a fantastic double header at St. John’s Church, Hoxton on the 18th May.

LCM Song Of The Day: ‘Seasons’ - Cerian

Our featured track today is the beautiful and new ethereal single from London based singer-songwriter Cerian. Inspired by three lines of poetry by Lewis Carroll: "In a Wonderland they lie, Dreaming as the days go by, Dreaming as the Summers die."

With Lewis Carroll's ‘Alice in Wonderland’ as a starting point, and using the seasons as a metaphor for love and the passage of time, this video was mainly filmed on location in Poland, where the amazing verdant greens echoed the vivid colour references in the song. The video was directed and produced by Bartek Podkowa (Seven Hills Films).

If you would like to see Cerian live in London, she will be joining the HEARD collective on Thursday (March 7th) at The Slaughtered Lamb for the released of their new single to celebrate International Women’s Day. Also Heard will be at the Green Note on April 17th and Cerian’s final gig of the spring will be at St. John’s Church, Hoxton on May 18th.
