Kyshona - Fallen People
LCM Song Of The Day: ‘Fallen People’ - Kyshona
‘Fallen People’ is the reflective and super smooth new single from Nashville based singer-songwriter Kyshona Armstrong. It’s taken from her upcoming album, "Listen" set for release on February 28th.
Kyshona comments: “In a time when we are all so divided, this song was written as a reminder that each and every one of us has an obstacle we're trying to overcome, an emotional wound we are living with and a struggle that we're walking with everyday. THAT is where we can all be united... in the hurting”.
The song was written by Kyshona, Jenn Bostic and Maureen Murphy.
Kyshona will be in London as part of the AMA UK ‘Americana Clash’ at Oslo in Hackney on January 27th
Kyshona, a music therapist gone rogue, hails from the small town of Irmo, SC (home of Vanna White and the Okra Strut). She grew up listening to her grandfathers singing in the gospel choir, aunts and uncles singing old Sam Cooke tunes around the electric guitar amps, and her father practicing the guitar solo from "Hello" by Lionel Richie... on repeat.
